Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Tuesday, May 29, 2024:
- Suspicious vehicle on East Promenade.
- Harassment at South Calhoun.
- Unwanted subject on Curtis.
- Property damage on East Promenade and at West Promenade/Coal.
- Trespassing on Howell Manor Court.
- Vandalism at Carson.
- Careless and imprudent driver on West Buchanan.
- Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
- Domestic verbal incident at the West Love apartment building.
- Careless and imprudent driver on Dorcas.
Car accidents:
A one-vehicle accident at 113 West Promenade just after 10:30am on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Kyle Phillips of Ashland attempted to back out of a parking lot and struck a light pole with the back of his vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on South Muldrow at West Jackson on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Maria Morales of Mexico attempted to cross South Muldrow.
Morales’s vehicle did not have a clear path according to the accident report.
This caused a collision with a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Tiffany Bise of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
