Mexico Public Safety Makes Several Arrests After Break-Ins At Former Hospital Property

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of several people for trespassing at the former hospital property located in the 600 blocks of East Monroe Street, East Jackson, and East Promenade.

Last week on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, Audrain County purchased the former hospital property.

Mexico Public Safety says since that time information from alert residents has led to the arrest of two people for accessing the property without authorization.

On Monday, July 29th, Mexico Public Safety arrested 41-year-old Jeanne M. Eisele of Auxvasse for Second Degree Trespassing.

On Thursday, August 1st, 27-year-old Dakota M. Goodin of Mexico was arrested for First Degree Trespassing and Possession of Burglar’s Tools.

Mexico Public Safety says additional information from area residents and video from the property has allowed the identification of some people who accessed the building without permission before the sale.

Mexico Public Safety is reminding that accessing the buildings or property without permission from Audrain County or its partners is illegal.
