The Missouri State Highway Patrol released a preliminary report on Tuesday, May 28, showing seven people died in traffic crashes over Memorial Day weekend.
No fatal crashes or drownings happened on Missouri waterways during the counting period according to the report.
Troopers responded to 275 crashes statewide, resulting in 161 injuries.
The Memorial Day weekend counting period started Friday at 6pm and ran through Monday night at 11:59.
