A Holliday teen was taken by survival flight to the University Hospital in Columbia following a two-car accident in Monroe County during the evening hours of Sunday, June 2, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Missouri 154, 5 miles west of Perry.
A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl from Holiday failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Diana M. Stephens of Maryland Heights.
Stephens also had serious injuries and was taken by Monroe City ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
