The Missouri Highway Patrol released results from the 2024 annual school bus inspections on Tuesday, June 12, 2024.
A total of 10,055 school buses rated as approved upon initial inspection.
While 895 school buses rated as defective upon initial inspection.
Of the 18 buses presented in the Centralia R-VI School District 88.9% were approved.
Of the 11 buses presented from Community R-VI, 72.7% were approved.
Of the 28 buses presented in the Mexico School District 67.9% were approved.
Montgomery County had a 91.7% approval rating of the 24 buses they presented.
Moberly received a 76% approval rating of the 25 buses they presented.
North Callaway presented 20 buses and received a 95% approval rating.
