Audrain County Man Killed In Storm Related Death
The Martinsburg community is mourning the loss of an area farmer who was killed in a storm related accident in Audrain County during the evening hours of Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
According to Audrain County Sheriff Matt Oller, the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department along with Audrain Ambulance District responded to 3434 County Road 408 around 6:22pm.
Upon arrival Mike Ahrens was found deceased.
Ahrens was apparently putting a tractor in a shed on the farm when a power pole snapped and knocked him off the tractor.
An autopsy will not be performed.
