A Bowling Green man is recovering from serious injuries following a one-car accident in Pike County during the afternoon hours of Thursday, June 27, 2024.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Route H, east of 25500 Route H.
A vehicle driven by 34-year-old Amos M. Pitzer ran off the right side of the road and struck a culvert.
After hitting the culvert, the vehicle became airborne and started to overturn.
The vehicle came to rest on its roof.
Pitzer was taken to Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis by Air evacuation.
