A former Boonville correctional center officer has been charged with having sex with an inmate at the facility.
Following investigations by the Department of Corrections, they say that the sexual contact between Emmalee Walker and an inmate occurred between October 2025 and March 2026.
Authorities say that they have security footage of Walker and the inmate entering a bathroom together and note that at times they stayed in there for seven to eight minutes at a time.
Walker is charged with First Degree Sodomy and Sexual Conduct In The Course of Public Duty.
Her arrest warrant was issued today with a $10,000 bond.
