Arrests:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 28-year-old Christiana C. Harmon for two City of Mexico warrants on Friday, July 5, 2024.
61-year-old Henry D. Durst was arrested for DWI and Resisting Arrest on Friday, July 5, 2024.
41-year-old Wesley J. Mallicoat was arrested for a Warren County warrant on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the Fourth of July holiday weekend starting on Friday, July 5th:
- Trespassing on West Monroe and at East Holt and on Huntingfield Road.
- Domestic physical incident at Rock Springs Drive and on Carrico and at East Jackson.
- Careless and imprudent driver on North Agricultural.
- Stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.
- Harassment on Country Place Court/Friendship Drive.
Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, July 6, 2024:
- Shots fired reported at West Pearson.
- Child abuse or neglect on Sannebeck Drive and at North Missouri.
- Assault without injury at the Hassen apartment building.
Mexico Public Safety went to the following calls on Sunday, July 7, 2024:
- Stealing or theft on Venus and at West Monroe.
- Unwanted subject on West Pearson.
- A stolen vehicle reported at South Clark.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a one-car accident in the 300 block of East Orange Street in Mexico on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Tristan Jones of Mexico attempted to turn at a private drive and ran into a drainage ditch and collided with a fire hydrant.
No injuries reported after a two-car accident at Muldrow at Liberty on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Jerry Baugh of Mexico started to change lanes and struck a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Arica Brookens of Mexico.
