Fulton Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Shooting

A Fulton man has been charged with 1st degree murder in a fatal shooting that happened in Fulton on Tuesday afternoon.

The Callaway County Prosecutor’s Office issued the arrest warrant for 23-year-old Taeon Logan on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Logan was found at a residence in Fulton where he was arrested.

Logan remains in the Callaway County Jail. Fulton Police and the Callaway County Sheriff’s office, investigated the shooting death of 19-year-old Jakiem Braggs in the 1200 block of Kathy Street in Fulton on Tuesday afternoon.

Over the next 27 hours officers recovered numerous pieces of evidence, obtained surveillance videos, and gathered witness statements.

This led to the arrest of Logan and Quiara Walton and one juvenile suspect.

Officers say they have determined Emmanuel Brown was involved in the incident and is not in custody.

Police say he is possibly armed and dangerous.

The investigation is ongoing.
