New Assistant Principal Selected For Mexico High School
Mexico Public Schools announces the selection of Shannon Davolt as Assistant Principal for Mexico High School.
Mrs. Davolt advances to the assistant principal position from her current role as student success coordinator.
As an educator for nine years, Mrs. Davolt also brings experience as a physical education teacher, Athletic Director, and ISS teacher.
Mrs. Davolt shared, “I am honored to continue building relationships with the students, staff, parents, and community in Mexico. I believe it is vital to create a physically, socially, and mentally safe environment where every individual has the opportunity to excel.”
Mrs. Davolt is married to Mr. Eric Davolt, who also teaches in the district.
They have four children Izaq, London, Micah, and Boston.
The family has three beloved canines.
The Davolts enjoy many outdoor activities, including hiking and kayaking.
She steps into this role formerly held by Mr. David Cochrane, who recently accepted a position with North Callaway Schools.
