A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Columbia on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Columbia Police Department responded to the incident 4600 block of Paris Road.
According to a news release from Columbia police a vehicle traveling southbound on Paris Road (Route B) hit 24-year-old Tristen Crawford of Columbia.
Crawford was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he died form injuries sustained in the collision.
This is an ongoing investigation.
