A Mexico teen suffered moderate injuries following an accident in Audrain County during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened on MO 22, 749 feet east of Audrain Road 379.
A vehicle driven by 42-year-old Adam M. Rievely of Centralia was stopped in traffic awaiting a vehicle several cars in front of them to make a left turn.
A 17-year-old boy from Mexico failed to observe stopped traffic in time and struck the rear of Rievley’s vehicle.
The Mexico teen was taken to University Hospital by Audrain County EMS.
Riveley was uninjured in the accident.
