Former Centralia High School Band Booster Club Treasurer Charged With Stealing
Charges have been brought against a Boone County woman accused of stealing from the Centralia High School Band Boosters.
According to online court records, Jeanie Marie Whitlatch, who was the treasurer for the band booster club, was charged last week with stealing $750 or more.
According to court documents Centralia Police say Whitlatch stole over $5,700 from the booster club’s bank account by paying herself using CashApp and paying for Doordash, Amazon Prime and other bills with the booster club’s money.
The Centralia Police Department received the report from the booster club on February 1, and court documents allege the stealing could date back to 2021.
