Meat Snack Manufacturing Company Expanding Operations In Mexico
A press conference was held at the Mexico City Hall on Friday, August 23, 2024.
The City of Mexico announced that Western Smokehouse Partners, LLC will be expanding its operations by opening a new meat snack manufacturing plant at 4655 East Liberty Street.
This 300,000 square foot site, formerly occupied by Soft Surroundings, will soon become a hub for better-for-you meat snack production.
Western Smokehouse Partners, plans to invest $60 million in building improvements and state-of-the-art equipment for the new facility.
The investment will create 250 new jobs.
The facility is set to launch operations in August 2025.
According to Western Smokehouse Partners, CEO Matt Bormann the average starting wage will be $18.50 per hour.
