The Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mexico are pleased to announce that Arthur Center Community Health has been named the 2024 Commerce and Industry Winner.
Arthur Center Community Health will be honored at the 39th annual Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce, Commerce and Industry Dinner, which will take place on October 15th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Mexico, Missouri.
Arthur Center Community Health, originally established in 1961 with a focus on behavioral health as part of the Audrain Medical Center, has expanded over the years to include a broad range of services, including primary care, dental services, behavioral health integration and most recently ophthalmology In November 2013, the center achieved the status of a Federally Qualified Health Center, further enhancing its capacity to serve the community.
Today, Arthur Center Community Health operates a full-service clinic in Montgomery City, a behavioral health office in Fulton, a residential property in Mexico, and a mobile dental clinic.
The center’s most recent expansion includes a new building for administrative offices.
In addition to its wide range of vital services, the center is a significant local employer, with 170 staff members.
The E. Warner Williams Business Service Award will also be presented during the event.
The recipient will be chosen from one of the four quarterly Excellence in Business award winners:
- Burle Chiropractic
- Pearl Motor Company
- Graphitti
- Oasis Golf and Games.
The evening will commence with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m., with the award presentations to follow.
