Grand Jury Indicts Three People In Death Of Fulton Teen

Three people accused in the death of a Fulton teen last month have been indicted by a grand jury.

According to the indictment released on Wednesday, August, 28, 2024, 44-year-old Mitchell Henderson Jr. is charged with first-degree murder, illegal gun possession and armed criminal action.

19-year-old Quiara Walton is charged with first-degree murder, and 20-year-old Emmanuel Brown is charged with first-degree accessory to murder and armed criminal action.

All three people are accused in the shooting death of 19-year-old Jakiem Braggs on July 16.

Braggs was pronounced dead after shots were fired on the 1200 block of Kathy Street in Fulton.

Henderson, Walton and Brown are being held at the Callaway County Jail without bond. An arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday at the Callaway County Courthouse.
