Mexico Public Safety Arrests Three People Following Disturbance on Garfield

Two Mexico teens and a Mexico man were taken to the Audrain County following a disturbance in the 900 block of Garfield in Mexico on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Mexico Public Safety Department were called to the residence in reference to harassment.

Responding officers determined that a resident was being harassed by some of her neighbors because they believed she had cooperated with Mexico Public Safety Department on an unrelated issue.

According to the press release, as officers were attempting to investigate what occurred, some of the people at the neighboring address became combative.

18-year-old Malachi L. Whitely was arrested for harassment and violation of bond conditions.

26-year-old Austin W. Terry was arrested for harassment and resisting arrest.

And 18-year-old Joshua L. Graham was arrested for interfering with arrest.
