The Mexico Bulldogs football team will host the Centralia Panthers at Hawthorne Heights at the Mexico High School for the start of the high school football season on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Centralia has beaten Mexico the last two season.
Mexico head coach Steve Haag says his team this year brings back players with experience from last year.
Coach Haag says Centralia will feature a different style of offense this year.

The 11th ranked Missouri Tigers football team dominated the Murray State Racers in a 51-0 season opening win last on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Memorial Stadium held the sixth-largest crowd at a home opener in Missouri history.
Thursday night’s win was the first shutout for the Tigers in a home and season opener since 1998.
Up next Mizzou plays Buffalo on Saturday, September 7th at 6pm.

The St. Louis Cardinals earned a series split with a 4-1 win over the San Diego Padres at Busch Stadium on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Cardinals starting pitcher Sonny Gray had zero walks, allowed three hits and one run while striking out four.
