- Southern Boone defeated Odessa 32 – 25.
- Blair Oaks with a big win against Maryville 61 – 12.
- Capital City 45 Carl Junction 7.
- Boonville over Clinton 27 – 14.
- Fulton loses to Eldon 35 – 7.
- Tipton took California 40 – 7.
- Helias defeated Hannibal 31 – 20.
- Battle lost to North Kansas City 31 – 14.
- South Shelby big over Harrisburg 60 – 22.
- Palmyra edges out Hallsville in an overtime thriller 42 – 40.
- Camdenton takes out Jefferson City 53 – 28.
- Pewaukee beats Moberly 36 – 18.
The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the New York Yankees 6-3 at Yankee Stadium on Friday, August 30, 2024.
With the loss St. Louis has fallen to 7 games back of the third and final Wild Card spot in the National League.
The Kansas City Royals lost 3-2 to the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
The Royals were no-hit into the eighth, but tied it in the ninth before Royals reliever James McArthur allowed a walk-off double to Jose Altuve.
