Mexico Man Arrested After Being Accused Of Burglarizing An Area Business
A Mexico man is facing burglary related charges following an arrest on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
According to Mexico Public Safety their officers responded to a business in the 1400 block of West Monroe just before 2am on Sunday in reference to an alarm sounding.
Responding personnel found that someone had forced open the doors to the business and taken about $1,200 of merchandise.
Investigation led to the identification of 27-year-old Dakota M. Goodin of Mexico, as the suspect.
At around 7:10 on Sunday morning, officers say they found Goodin walking in the 600 block of West Monroe.
Goodin was arrested and processed.
He was taken to the Audrain County Jail for Second Degree Burglary, Stealing over $750 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
