Mexico Girls Golf Hosts First Match Of Season
The Mexico Girls Golf team hosted their first match of the season on Tuesday, September 3.
The Lady Bulldogs competed against New Bloomfield and Hallsville.
Mexico Girls Golf coach Layne Meyers said “We started the season off on a good note.
Our varsity girls played a regular round and our JV girls scrambled with the other teams.
Mexico’s low score was a 57, shot by Ella Connell.
The overall low score came from Avery Pemberton from Hallsville with a 48.
The girls were nervous but had a great first experience.
Freshman Khloe Bohl had some impressive shots on the night and really improved her game.
Cassandra Young also had a great shot with a chip in the hole for bogey.
Ella Connell and Khloe Bohl are ones to watch as the season progresses.
I have high hopes for them to achieve many accolades this season.”
