Audrain County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Mexico Man For Fentanyl And Possession Of Burglary Tools

During the evening hours on Saturday September 14, 2024, while Audrain County Deputy Sheriff Chris Purkey was patrolling in the 1100 block of Latney Street in Mexico Missouri, when he observed a male subject who he knew from prior law enforcement contact as Jeremy Lee Farris of Mexico.
Deputy Purkey also had prior knowledge that Farris had several outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Contact was made and Farris was subsequently arrested for the warrants.
During a search of Harris’s belongings, burglary tools, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia were located.
Farris was transported to the Audrain County Jail where he was charged with Possession of A Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana, Unlawful Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession Of Burglary Tools.
Farris is being held at the Audrain County Jail without bond.
