Law enforcement agencies in mid-Missouri were made aware of an inmate who walked away from his work assignment at the Missouri State Fair just after midnight today. [Monday]
Thirty-four-year-old Shannon Watts was doing maintenance work at the fair but did not report to the van for the trip back to the Tipton prison.
Watts is not considered a risk to the public. His criminal background consists of non-violent offenses such as burglary and fraud.
Watts is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and 195 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and gray pants.
