Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 24-year-old Anthony J. Risher for Negligent Burning on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

24-year-old Cheyanne G. Hicks was arrested for an Audrain County warrant on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

48-year-old Eugene K. Watts was arrested for a Callaway County warrant on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

And 32-year-old Jeanie L. Young was arrested for Third Degree Assault on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, September 27, 2024:

  • Suspicious person on West Breckenridge and at East Holt.
  • Domestic physical incident on South Olive, between Clay and Breckenridge.
  • Vehicle break-ins at Christopher Drive and on West Jackson.
  • Fraud at West Whitley.
  • Ex-parte violation on Carrico.
  • Trash dumping at Jubel Drive.
  • Haz-mat fuel spill on West Monroe.
  • An assault without injury at West Maple.
  • Displaying a weapon reported at Robert S. Green Park.

Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, September 28th:

  • Domestic physical incident on West Love.
  • Vehicle break-in at West Buchanan.
  • Threats on South Union.
  • Stealing or theft at East Orange and on North Washington.
  • Suspicious person at 4800 South Clark.
  • Property damage on Lakeview Road.
  • Trash dumping at Summit/Woodlawn.
  • Fireworks on South Calhoun.
  • Shots fired reported at Rosebud/Fairground.

  • Suspicious noise at East Holt.
