Mexico Public Safety Department Report 10/14/2024
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, October 11, 2024:
- Domestic verbal incident on Terrace Circle.
- Careless and imprudent driver at North Agricultural.
- Trespassing on West Monroe.
- Vehicle break-in at West Promenade.
- Suspicious person on South Elmwood Drive and at South Muldrow/Boulevard and on South Western.
- Suspicious vehicle at South Washington.
- Stealing or theft on North Clark.
Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, October 12, 2024:
- Suspicious person at North Olive.
- Vehicle break-in on East Jackson.
- Neighbor dispute at North Clark.
- Harassment on Mars and at North Clark/Hendricks.
- Property damage on West Jackson and at 4820 South Clark.
- Fight in progress at North Washington.
- Stealing or theft on Vance Road.
Mexico Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Sunday, October 13, 2024:
- Domestic physical incident at South Missouri and on North Jefferson.
- Suspicious vehicle at Lakeview Road.
- Domestic verbal incident on North Western.
- Suspicious person at Park.
- Displaying a weapon on West Monroe.
Car accidents:
Mexico Public Safety recently responded to two separate car accidents.
The first accident happened on Thursday, October 10.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened on West Liberty at Morris.
A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Mexico teen did not wait for a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Paula Brown of Mexico to leave the intersection before pulling out and a collision happened.
No injuries were reported.
The second accident was on Friday, October 11.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Maxine Griffith of Mexico was traveling south on Muldrow and attempted to make a left turn, northbound onto Muldrow from Liberty,
striking a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Samuel Coach of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
