The Mexico Bulldogs gave the Hannibal Pirates a test in the Class 4 District 5 Semifinals in Hannibal on Friday, November 8, 2024.
The Bulldogs got a big time rushing performance from senior running back Hunter Cuno who finished the game with 220 yards on the ground and a touchdown.
Cuno’s longest run of the night went for 49 yards.
Korbyn Dorsey ran for 51 yards.
Dorsey scored two touchdowns.
Charlie Fisher got into the endzone on a quarterback keeper.
Drew DeMint completed the game with 41 yards.
The Bulldogs offense put up 329 yards of total offense against the Hannibal defense.
Hannibal ended up winning 42-27.
Mexico ended the season with a 5-6 record and a third place finish in the North Central Missouri Conference.

University of Missouri men’s basketball won their home opener with a 77-62 victory over Howard at Mizzou Arena on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Three Tigers scored in double figures to lead MU to victory.
Senior Tamar Bates tallied a game-high 17 points.
Junior Mark Mitchell followed just behind with 16 points of his own.
And Sophomore Anthony Robinson II put up 13 points of his own.
The Tigers secured their first win of the season, improving to 1-1.
Up next the Mizzou men look to continue their winning ways, hosting Eastern Washington on Monday night.
