A Martinsburg woman is recovering from minor injuries following a vehicle accident in Audrain County during the evening hours of Monday, October 14, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online accident report it happened on Audrain County Road 812, about 300 yards west of Audrain County Road 841.
A vehicle was parked in the roadway with no lights on and without a driver inside the vehicle.
A vehicle driven by 64-year-old Linda M. Welschmeyer of Martinsburg was unable to see the vehicle and hit the vehicle in the rear.
Welschmeyer was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of her injuries.
