Mexico High School Boys Cross Country Claim Second Consecutive North Central Missouri Conference Team Title
The Mexico High School Boys Cross Country team brought home the Conference Championship for the second year in a row.
The North Central Missouri Conference meet was held in Mexico at Mexico Green Estates on Saturday.
Mexico head coach Lucas Brenneman says ““We were battling some sickness and injuries, but the boys got it done. Proud of the way the dug deep and fought for this one.”
On the girls side Maggie Ramsey was an individual meet champion.
Coach Brenneman says “Maggie had a goal to finish in the top 2 at this meet.
As the race went she kept closing the gap on first and with less than a mile to go she moved into first and held it all the way to the finish!”
All together Mexico Cross Country had six finish with All Conference individuals.

On the JV side the Mexico also had the meet champ with Freshman Riley Gordon crossing the line first. Next up is our Autumn Classic held here in Mexico at Green Estates Park at 4pm
