Several area high school softball teams were crowned District champions on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Cairo beat Glasgow 5-4 in the Class 1 District 3 bracket.

Cairo will play Paris in the Super Regional after the Lady Coyotes beat Community R6 15-0 in the Class 1 District 4 bracket.

The Centralia Lady Panthers have advanced after shutting out Macon 9-0 in the Class 3 District 4 championship game.

Father Tolton was victorious over St. Dominic 1-0 to claim the Class 4 District 5 championship.

Helias outlasted Troy Buchanan 9-7 in the Class 5 District 4 championship.

Rock Bridge advanced by beating Grain Valley 4-1 in the Class 5 District 6 championship game.

The Montgomery Lady Wildcats will play for the Class 2 District 2 championship game tonight against Elsberry at 6pm.

Montgomery beat Valley Park 3-1 in the semifinals last night.

And Elsberry defeated Louisiana 7-5 in their semifinal game.

The St. Louis Blues will try to give the Winnipeg Jets their first loss of the season on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

The Blues come into the game with a record of 4-2, while the Jets are a perfect 5-0. Puck drops at 7pm.
