Arrests:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 38-year-old Brandon Stephens for an Audrain County warrant on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, October 18, 2024:
- Careless and imprudent driver on West Monroe/Wade.
- Suspicious person on North Wade and at West Love.
- Assault without injury on West Boulevard.
- Scam at East Jackson.
- Suspicious vehicle on North Olive/Pearson.
- Vehicle break-in at West Promenade.
Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, October 19, 2024:
- Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
- Stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.
- Threats on West Boulevard.
- Suspicious person at East Jackson and on North Western and at West Street.
- Unlawful ATV operation on North Clark/Orange.

- Stealing or theft at South Union.
- Shots fired on West Buchanan/Muldrow.
- Suspicious person at West Whitley.
- Domestic physical incident on Fairgrounds Park.
- Unwanted subject at North Clark.
- Animal abuse or neglect on West Love.
- Stealing or theft at Hendricks.
- An assault without injury on Hendricks.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a two-car accident on West Love at North Washington on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Coleen Foster of Centralia stopped at a stop sign, then proceeded through the stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Susan McCulloch of Mexico.
