Mexico Public Safety Department Report 10/23/2024
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 27-year-old Amanda M. Walker for an Audrain County warrant on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
- Unlawful ATV Operation at North Jeffries/Anderson.
- Stealing or theft on Rivers Drive and at North Coal.
- Fraud at 2781 South Clark.
- Threats on Lakeview Road.
- Suspicious person at Teal Lake Road/South Clark and on Ringo.
- Domestic physical incident at East Breckenridge and on South Muldrow.
- Unwanted subject at West Monroe.
Mexico Public Safety responded to two separate car accidents on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
The first accident happened on Morris at Boulevard.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Tracy Duncan of Mexico failed to obey the stop sign at the intersection of Morris and Boulevard and entered it prior to it being safe to do so, and obstructed traffic.
The accident report says Duncan pulled the vehicle over to side of Boulevard and a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Molly Burroughs of Mexico throught it was safe to pass.
While passing Duncan’s vehicle began to turn south onto Morris and struck Burrough’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
The second accident happened on South Muldrow at West Liberty.
A vehicle driven by 63-year-old Kimberly Harding of Mexico entered traffic and struck the right side of a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Kirsten J. Halbert of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
