The Centralia Panthers Boys Cross Country Team made school history by earning their first State Championship at Class 3 Missouri State High School Activities Association Cross Country Championship held at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia on Saturday, November 10, 2024.
Carter Moss and Nolan Spickert were state medalists.
Moss completed the race with a time of 17:07, good enough for a 12th place finish.
Spickert, a freshman, finished in 13th place with a time of 17:08.
On the girls side Kenedee Moss raced to a time of 20:36 and finished in 20th place. Moss earned a State medal.
