The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of the victim who died in a shooting south of Moberly on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found 22-year-old Ethan March dead from an apparent gunshot wound after responding to a residence south of Moberly just after 5:15pm on Sunday.
Officials believed that the suspect and an acquaintance had fled the area on foot and were apprehended just before 7:15 on Sunday night.
The suspect was identified as a 16-year-old boy from Columbia and the acquaintance is a 15-year-old girl from Moberly.
Both were released to the Randolph County Juvenile Office.
The investigation is continuing.
