Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 43-year-old Robert R. Cheek for an Ex-Parte Violation and Property Damage on Friday, November 15, 2024.

36-year-old Justin C. Ewing was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Calls For Service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Friday, November 15, 2024:

  • Suspicious person on Emmons.
  • Unwanted subject at the West Love apartment building and on Vance Road.
  • Harassment at Fieldcrest.
  • Trespassing at 2925 South Clark.
  • Domestic verbal incident on Mars/Venus and at West Whitley.
  • A scam on North Missouri.
  • Vehicle break-in at Lakeside Place.
  • Threats on West Monroe.
  • Suspicious vehicle at Northeast Park.

Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, November 16, 2024:

  • Domestic physical incident at the South Clark apartment building and on Carrico/Morris Street.
  • Suspicious person at East Anderson and on West Love.
  • Attempted burglary at South Missouri.
  • Careless and imprudent driver on Howell Manor Court.
  • Trespassing at West Pearson.
  • Stealing or theft on North Western.
  • Assault without injury at Rock Springs Drive.
  • Domestic physical incident on South Western.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, November 17, 2024:

  • Domestic physical incident at Neptune.
  • Assault without injury at North Alabama.
  • Child abuse or neglect on Carrico.
  • Stealing or theft at Hisey.
  • Suspicious person on Garfield and on North Agricultural.

Car accidents:

Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident in the 3000 block of South Clark Street on Friday, November 15, 2024.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 82-year-old Mary Cott of Benton City was traveling south, and a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jasmine Jones of Auxvasse attempted to merge onto South Clark, from the turning lane and a collision happened.

No injuries were reported.

 

Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident in the 2700 block of South Clark on Friday, November 15, 2024.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Tracy Arndt of Hunnewell did not see a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Symone Kushel of Mexico pulling out a parking lot and a collision happened.

No injuries were reported.
