Highway Patrol Ramps Up For Holiday Weekend

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is ramping up enforcement along major highways in the state for Memorial Day weekend.

Troopers will be stationed every 20 miles along Interstate 70.


The holiday counting period begins at 6:00 this evening and will end at midnight on Monday.

In 2017, 9 people died on Missouri roadways, and 107 were arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

On the water, there were 15 boating crashes killing one person, while 2 others drowned.
