Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, December 6, 2024:
- Careless and Imprudent Driver on the Highway 54 Bypass.
- Trespassing at South Clark and at Howell Manor Court.
- Property damage on Monroe Place.
- Suspicious person at the South Clark apartment building.
- Domestic verbal incident on West Monroe/Curtis.
- Threats at Carrico/Singleton.
Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, December 7, 2024:
- Domestic verbal incident on Rock Springs Drive.
- Stealing or theft at Emmons.
- Domestic physical incident on East Seminary.
- Suspicious activity at North Washington/Pearson.
Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
- Assault with injury on East Monroe.
- Vehicle break-ins at North Mississippi, on Bennington and at the North Wade apartment building.
- Property damage on Saturn.
- Trespassing at East Holt.
- Domestic verbal incident at Lakeview Park.
- Suspicious vehicle on Emmons.
Car accidents:
Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident on Sunday, December 8, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle made a stop and 39-year-old Robert Reno collided with the rear end of a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Luken Riley of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Promenade Street at Eastholm Street on Friday, December 6, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Taveon Mahaney of Mexico turned east on Promenade from Eastholm and struck a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Jeffery Smith of Paris. No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Agricultural at Promenade on Friday, December 6, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when an unknown vehicle driven by an unknown driver crossed Agricultural west on Promenade and struck a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Melissa Deimeke of Laddonia. The unknown vehicle left the scene. No injuries were reported.
