The Mexico High academic team traveled over six hours to compete in a tournament at the Barrington High School in Illinois on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
The 8th ranked Bulldogs academic team went 7-2 on the day and took 3rd place going 2-1 against fellow top 10 teams.
Mexico’s team of Andrew Peuster, Camden Williams, Lucy Gleeson, and Hunter Feger, defeated 7th ranked Detroit Catholic Central and 10th ranked Academy from Georgia.
The Bulldogs were 1 question away from a tournament title.
However, lost on the tiebreaker question to 6th ranked William Fremd.
Andrew Peuster and Camden Williams made the all-tournament team.
