Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 60-year-old Rachel H. Allen for a Pike County warrant on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
68-year-old Ronald W. Fountain was arrested for Second Degree Domestic Assault on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the Christmas holiday starting on Monday, December 23, 2024:
- A stolen vehicle reported on South Olive.
- Trespassing at West Monroe and on East Holt.
- Domestic physical incident at East Seminary.
- Harassment on Yale and at North Mississippi and on Howell Manor Court and at Rock Springs Drive.
- An assault without injury reported on West Monroe and at West Love.

- Unwanted subject at 629 East Liberty and at 4800 South Clark.
- A scam on West Monroe.
- Animal abuse/neglect reported at North Western.
- Suspicious person on Mars and at West Monroe.
- Threats on South Morris Street.
- A scam at the West Love apartment building.
- Suspicious vehicle on South Jefferson.
- Careless and imprudent driver at East Liberty/Highway 54 Bypass.

- Harassment on Terrace Circle.
- A peace disturbance at Garfield.
- Vehicle break-in on Concordia.
- Ex-parte violation at North Western.
- Harassment on West Monroe.
- Domestic verbal incident at West Buchanan.
- Suspicious vehicle on Summit.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a two-car accident in the 600 block of West Jackson in Mexico during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Brenda Cooks of Mexico backed into a vehicle owned by 24-year-old Brianna Buck of Mexico.
Cooks left the scene and was later located according to Mexico Public Safety.
