The Central Missouri Jennies are the NCAA Division 2 Women’s Basketball Ball Champions after defeating the Ashland Eagles 66-52.
It was an upset of historic proportions as the 6th seeded Jennies put an end to the Number 1 seed Eagles 73 game winning streak.
This is the Jennies first Division II Championship since 1984.
NCAA Men’s Basketball winners included Kansas over Clemson, Villanova beats West Virginia, Duke takes out Syracuse, and Texas Tech defeats Purdue.
The 25th ranked Missouri Tigers Baseball Team won its 15th consecutive home game over Mississippi State 4-1 yesterday (Friday) at Taylor Stadium in Columbia.
The 15 game winning streak is Mizzou’s longest home winning streak in 11 years.
It was also the program’s first ever win over Mississippi State.
The Tigers evened their conference record at 2-2.
