Mexico Man Pleads Guilty To Charges Of Statutory Rape, Charges Of First-Degree Statutory Sodomy Dropped
A Mexico, Missouri man has pleaded guilty to separate charges of Statutory Rape.
Nickolas Crum had also been charged with First-Degree Statutory Sodomy.
According to reporting from KRCG 13, prosecutors dismissed that charge on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 when Crum entered the guilty pleas.
According to a press release from Mexico Public Safety they received reports at the end January 2024, that 18-year-old Nickolas Crum was having inappropriate contact with a 13-year-old juvenile.
Previous reporting from KXEO shows during the investigation Mexico Public Safety says they learned of another 13-year-old juvenile Crum had been in contact with.
An arrest warrant was issued on March 8, 2024 and Mexico Public Safety arrested Crum.
A sentencing hearing has not been set yet.
