Arrests:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 28-year-old Amanda M. Walker for 10 warrants out of Audrain County on Friday, Jan 18, 2025.
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend starting on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025:
- Wrong-way driver at the City Square.
- Harassment on Rock Springs Drive.
- Domestic physical incident at Latney.
- Domestic verbal incident on North Clark.
- Displaying a weapon at South Missouri/Hisey.
- Stealing or theft on 1316 North Clark.
- Suspicious person at North Western and on Summit.
- Loitering at Vance Road.
- Threats on South Missouri.
- An assault with injury at West Liberty.
Public Safety responded to these calls on Saturday, January 18th:
- Displaying a weapon on West Monroe.
- Trespassing at West Monroe.
- Harassment on Rock Springs Drive.
- Threats at West Monroe and on Onie.
- A domestic verbal incident at Howell Manor Court.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, January 19th:
- Suspicious noise at the South Clark apartment building.
- Assault with injury on Vance Road.
- Assault without injury at South Mississippi.
- Threats on Neptune.
- Domestic physical incident at East Breckenridge.
- Vandalism at 4820 Vance Road.
- Harassment on West Monroe.
Public Safety went to the following calls for service yesterday (Monday):
- Assault without injury on North Wade.
- Suspicious vehicle at Concordia.
- Natural gas odor reported on East Breckenridge.
- Shots fired reported at Carrico.
Car accidents:
Mexico Safety reports a two-car accident on North Jefferson near Mars.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Robert Nitcher of Mexico was turning and a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico boy attempted to pass and was hit on the passenger side of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
