Investigators are looking for a maroon or burgundy 2022 Jeep Compass Sport in connection to the shooting death of 17-year-old Mason Sheets.
The Fulton Police Department said the vehicle was reported stolen in Columbia on January 13th and has yet to be recovered.
Police say the vehicle was in the area during the time of Sheets’ killing.
He was found dead in a vehicle in Fulton on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025.
Investigators said they have followed up on over 50 leads and identified the Jeep as a possible suspect vehicle.
Sheets, who was a student at the Fulton High School, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest in a disabled vehicle according to police.
