The Little Dixie Fire Protection District is mourning the death of Battalion Chief John Loveless.
The Little Dixie Fire Protection District announced his death on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
The social media post stated that Loveless died from cancer.
He served Little Dixie Fire Protection District during the past five years.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
The post states that he was also a training officer.
Loveless was previously an investigator for the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office.
