Montgomery County Wildcats Best Steelville Cardinals In Sectionals Of State Tournament
The Montgomery County Wildcats are just one win away from a return to the Final Four in the State Tournament after defeating the Steelville Cardinals 62-33 in Sectionals at the Fulton High School on Monday, Mar. 3, 2025.
Montgomery County Clayton Parker dominated from the start of the game with 16 first quarter points and two dunks.
Parker finished the game with 29 points.
The second quarter belonged to Wildcats senior guard Andrew Moore who nailed three-three pointers on his way to a 13 point game.
Montgomery County improves to 28-1 and awaits the winner of the Principia/Palmyra game.
