The 14th ranked Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team won a wild game against Bradley 54-53 at Mizzou Arena last (Tuesday) night.
Senior forward Jeremiah Tilmon lifted the Tigers to victory with the game-winning 3 point play with 1 second left.
Down 8 points with under four minutes to play.
Mizzou kicked it into high gear.
After a missed free throw by Bradley, Tilmon got fouled, converted the game-tying bucket and buried the ensuing free throw to put Mizzou in front.
The Tigers improved to 6-0 on the season and will start SEC play next Wednesday, December 30th when they host Tennessee.
Mizzou Football freshman Kicker Harrison Mevis is named to the Athletic’s Freshman All-America Team.
The publication made the announcement yesterday (Tuesday).
The honor for Mizzou’s freshman kicker comes on the same day he was selected by the league’s coaches to the All-SEC Freshman Team.
Mevis produced a highly impressive debut campaign in the Black & Gold, as he was successful on 17-of-20 field goals for the Tigers and a perfect 28-of-28 on PATs.
