Over 50 people gathered at the Mexico Chamber of Commerce building for a candidate forum hosted by the Audrain County League of Women Voters on Thursday, Apr. 3, 2025.
The audience heard from Mexico Board of Education candidates Jon Calhoun, Scott Nichols, Josh Price and Erik Richardson, and Mexico City Council candidate Ron Ray.
Mexico School Board candidate Julia Lindsay was unable to attend due to a death in the family according to the Audrain County League of Women Voters.
The Mexico Board of Education has two open seats up for grabs during this election cycle.
Ron Ray is running unopposed for one open seat on the Mexico City Council.
The election will take place on Tuesday, Apr. 8, 2025.
Polls open at 6am and close at 7pm.
