Columbia Man Sustains Minor Injuries In Audrain County Vehicle Accident

A Columbia man suffered minor injuries following a one-car accident in Audrain County during the afternoon hours of Saturday, Apr. 5, 2025.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Route Y, south of Audrain Road 116.

A 2022 Subaru Outback driven by a 39-year-old Columbia man was traveling too fast for conditions and lost control on a sharp curve.

The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and rotated clockwise.

The vehicle came to rest in the ditch facing north.

The man was taken by Randolph County Ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.
