A Mexico High School senior has made history after winning a National Academic Quiz Bowl Championship for individual players.
Andrew Peuster became the first person from the Mexico High School and the first player from Missouri to win the title.
The 2025 Individual Player National Championship Tournament was held in Rosemont, Illinois on Sunday, Apr. 6, 2025.
250 players from the United States and Guatemala competed for the championship.
Peuster is a member of the 4th ranked quiz bowl team in the United States–The Mexico High Academic Team.
