A Mexico, Missouri man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for child sex crimes.
55-year-old Randall Giboney, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child, child molestation and three counts of child pornography in February.
According to the press release from the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the Audrain County Circuit Court sentenced Giboney on Monday, Apr. 7, 2025.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jordan Duenckel, with the assistance of Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Shellabarger, led the charge to bring justice to these victims.
Giboney was arrested in June 2021.
According to a 2021 probable cause statement, officers had spoken with a 13-year-old victim who believed she had been photographed or recorded by a hidden camera in a shower at Giboney’s residence.
She also told police there were numerous times that Giboney touched and photographed her in an uncomfortable way.
The probable cause statement reads an officer searched Giboney’s residence and found a small hole above the shower that could have housed a small camera.
Police searched his personal devices and found several images and videos of nude, young females were found, including the 13-year-old victim and an unknown victim taking a shower.
During the sentencing the girl who Giboney molested made a victim impact statement, saying she is not a victim, however, a survivor.
